How are some girls so dumb?

I don't understand. ((shakes head in disappointment)) So I'm waaaaaaaaay guilty of lurking on some first trimester boards. I only lurk because I don't dare participate in these retarded ( yes, I used the word retarded) questions and posts. It seriously makes my head hurt, and on one occasion, I seriously went crossed eyed for a second. No joke.
I have seen such posts as, " My HPT said negative last week, but I think I was pregnant, so I must be further along then my LMP." Alright ladies, pregnancy tests are simple, if it is negative, you do NOT have (or enough) HCG in your urine to trigger a positive, plain and simple. And NO, some women DO NOT have their period the whole pregnancy, it is not possible, no matter what your Grandma has told you. Oh and of course I have seen this confusing question more than once " Can you get pregnant through anal sex?" Yes. Yes you can. You end up pooping your baby out.
If you were never taught, or put together allllllllllllllll by yourself, that your colon does not have a uterus and ovaries......you should not be having sex, because honestly, you might accidentally reproduce an idiot like yourself.

Oh my gosh, that felt so good.

Now I will be honest, I did not know everything there was to know about TTC and reproducing, but you know, I did a lot of research on my own, read a lot of books, etc. etc. I did not remain ignorant, because that is just plain annoying. Women surprise me. And frankly, disappoint me.
If you do not know your body well, functions confuse you, DO SOME RESEARCH.


In some other news, Lilian and I went to a relatives (my apostrophe key isnt working, please excuse its absence) shower, and there Lilian caught a cough from a spoiled little three year that has never heard the word "no". Other than that, my little stinker is doing great. We are completely weaned from breastfeeding that actually went a lot better than I would have thought. Actually, I think it was harder on me than her.
In peanut news, we had an ultra sound last week and we saw the little peanut moving and wiggling all over the place. I was so adorable.

You may notice the absence of a title.....the last two weeks or so have been so crazy, I just can't think of a fitting title.

Long story short, I was in a car accident, rear ended, with Lilian in the car. I was angry beyond belief. I really do not feel like going in to detail, let's just say I now have back problems and I was spotting and there was fluid found in my uterus after the accident. Lilian and the baby-to-be are ok though, thank goodness. Lilian cried the instant the accident happened and afterwards, poor thing was so scared, I could have gone crazy on the other driver, but I know it would not have accomplished anything. Anyways, that's it for now. Maybe I'll post more when I feel more comfortable.

Complete crap

That above statement is a very accurate description of how Lilian and I feel this morning. We both went to bed last night around 8:30 pm, Lilian was lucky enough to be able to take some medicine, I had to tough it out because of my little muffin in the oven. Oh well. It's beyond worth it. Lilian slept a lot better than she has been for the last couple of days...poor baby. She actually did not wake up coughing or completely congested and not being able to breath. I didn't hear a peep out of her all night.
I still couldn't sleep. I was a official mouth-breather all night....gross. Here is the strange part....all night I had nightmares about not being about to wet my parched mouth. Nightmare after nightmare I would drink, suck on a hard candy etc. etc. Finally I asked my husband to get me water at four o'clock in the morning, my mouth and throat was so dry that when I tried to swallow I choked on the water.
I never thought being pregnant, taking care of a sick toddler and being pretty sick myself would be so crazy exhausting.
My jaw is sore from keeping my mouth open to breath.....this sucks.

Oh I forgot to mention, Lilian loves calling for her "Da-da". It's adorable. She'll run into whatever room he is in and slowly peek around the corner and whisper "Da-da?" and run to put her head in his lap. Too cute.

Ultra sound

Official due date? September 2nd 2010. Almost exactly 23 months apart from Lilian. I am going to be pregnant through the same months as I was with Lili.
On the ultra sound, we could see a fetal sac, yolk sac and very very very lightly a heart beat. I am five weeks and five days, very early. But I am a little more relax now that I've got to see our little peanut. So that's it for now.

A little late!

Sorry! I got stuck with a baby falling asleep on me for about two hours, it was nice though. Anywho, my appointment went well. The doctor said that I should wean Lilian, since breastfeeding causes uterine contractions...but I don't know about that, I'm a little on the fence. Lilian doesn't ask to be nursed during the day, so I don't really offer, night time is the only thing that I am a little hesitant about. I guess I'll have to really think about it.

Oh and tomorrow I have a ultra sound to determine a due date. I'll let you all know how that goes.

Real Quick

I have an OB appointment today, so when I get back I'll post an update. I still don't have ANY pregnancy symptoms at all...maybe I'm a little emotional, but that's about it. Oh and Lilian woke up this morning coughing something horrible, I really really hope she is ok and it's just the heat we had on last night that dried up her throat. Poor thing is miserable.
