Just a few things....Bullet time!
- I'm sick, again. I've had a sore throat for a couple of days. with a fever. So I went to the doctor because I had gross looking white spots on the back of my throat, my awesome doctor did a strep test which came back negative. He gave a z-pack just incase it gets worse, but hopefully it'll go away on it's own and I won't have to take antibiotics. I love my new doctor, they are so laid back. I brought Lilian with me, she had fun being at the doctors office and talking to all the nurses. I nursed her in the doctors office while the nurse was testing me for strep, I was surprised that Lily didn't get distracted.....musta been really hungry.
- I'm only 3lbs away from my pre-pregnancy weight! WOOHOO! I'm excited. I'm a little upset that it took my so long to lose all the weight, well it really wasn't that much actually, I just didn't feel like eating right. I was 135lbs when I got pregnant, and at the end of my pregnancy I was 176lbs. The day after giving birth I was 147lbs and stayed that way until about a month ago when I lost 7lbs and recently I lost two more. So now I just have to start working out more, I actually have a craving to work out more, I need to get a gym membership.
- I started drinking coffee every morning again. I haven't done that for almost a year and a half. It feels good......mmmmm......caffeine. It actually helps me accomplish chores around the house without feeling drained of energy. OH and I started drinking a beer every other night or so. ......I love beer too. It's the most perfect way to wind down at night, get a nice cold beer in a mug (i.e Guinness or Samuel Adams preffered) and turn on a sports game (i.e baseball or the basket ball finals) and relax..........whoa.........I am one of the guys. HAH. Now of course I careful when nursing Lilian while drinking, I actually have these testing strips for detecting harmful levels in alcohol in breastmilk, and not once have I got a positive test, so more frosty mugs for me!
- My little Lily fell off the bed this morning. I was completely and utterly terrified when I heard her hit the hard wood floor. We were doing our usually routine in the morning; she was already awake, but playing in bed, while I was half asleep, half keeping a eye on her. I had my hand around her leg to keep her from falling, well that didn't work as planned, she twisted and my hand slipped right off and she landed on her back on the floor. She screamed pretty damn loud for less than a minute. She was understandabley clingy afterwards. I changed her diaper and laid her down in her crib and she is sleeping now. I felt so bad, but I know it happens to the best of us. Plus she is fine.
- I noticed the other day I have quite a few nick names for Lilian, and I thought it was hilarious how parents come up with these little affectionate names outta no where. For example my name for Lily are: Booboo, pookie, honey bunny, my little baby, silly Lily and my husband calls her Ju Ju bee (after the candy) What names do you girls have for your little one? Or even your pets? I call my doberman pooper scooper, HAHA, I don't know how I got that.
I think all kids acquire nicknames from family. Our dog, MJ, is called Boo Boo almost always lol. So I guess maybe our dogs name is Boo Boo?? The girls have nicknames too.
ReplyDeleteHaylie - Haylie Baby, Ning Ning (from a noise she makes constantly), Stinkie Roo, & Hadie (as my nephew calls her)
Hannah - Hannah Banana, Hanny (from the nephew), Stinker Roonie
I'm not quite sure if I girls will ever figure out their real names LMAO!!!!!
