We just moved to a nice, old school house with a large fenced in yard for my doberman, Duke. Here he is enjoying his new yard.

Anyways, here are some updates.
Lilian cut her first two teeth about two days ago. Temperament wise, she was a champ! My little baby is growing up, it's crazy. I remember the day she was born like it was yesterday, not 8 months ago...it's crazy I tell you. Also she is saying 'Dada'. Not at her father though, she just says it over and over and over, it's awesome. She is still not crawling, but she is pulling her self up to a standing position all on her own and is cruising. She is watching 'My fri.end's Ti.g.ger and Po.oh' right now, she looves watching cartoons.
Oh and here is the low down on my missing dog Mickey. So a couple of days after my post about him missing a neighbor that leaves a street over from my parents called them and told them he found Mickey stuck in a ditch behind his house. The old man rescued Mickey, bathed him and gave him shelter and food for a day or two, after that he called a friend of his to take care of Mickey until his owners (my parents) found him. Well that old man gave my Mom his friend's phone number so we could call her and get Mickey, well we called and got her address and showed up at her house. She told us that the night she got Mickey, she ran away......yeah.....ran away. Well her story is this: She was outside of her house, in the front yard, at three in the morning smoking a cigarette, waiting for her fifteen year old daughter to come home. She brought Mickey out with her, she said he went to the edge of her yard, peed and she didn't she him after that. That's it, that is her lame ass story. Well we decided to search her neighborhood and look for our dog....she strangely did the same and very eagerly at that. Than as we all meet at her house again, she started telling my mom how Mickey looked abandoned and that it looked like he wasn't taken care of, that she thought the owners of mickey didn't want him, and on and on and on. She than went on to say that Mickey got along with her other tiny yappers. So after the guilt trip she tried to give my mother, my sister-in-law and me got a little suspicious. My sister-in-law belted out "can we look in your house?" She responded "I don't have him." But the way she said it was very calm, personally if someone accused me of hiding their dog when I didn't have him....I'd be pissed, she wasn't. So after a minute or two, she let us in. Then she ran and closed a bedroom door and shut the blinds to her back yard, and wouldn't let us through. So we left. Anyways, I think she has him and is not giving him back. But what can we do? My father is very sad without him, they were little partners in crime, I feel so bad. I wish I could get him back. I guess we just have to move on.
Well I have to go, my little Lily is crying.
Hi! This is L_Chelle from WebMD. Lily is so beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is awful that she would try to keep your dad's dog. It definitely sounds like she has him. Maybe someone could sneak over there and take him out of her back yard....
